He has performed on the pub and club circuits as singer, guitarist and lead vocalist for most of this time. From Sun City to Gold Reef City; from the Randburg Waterfront to all the top venues in around Johannesburg; from the Garden Route to Durban and from Cape Town to Gaberone; Windhoek to Bulawayo; he has performed at almost all the venues possible to perform in Southern Africa. Clint sings in 4 languages; English, Turkish, Spanish and Italian; from Boccelli to Sinatra, Tom Jones to Robbie Williams; in fact most genres from 50’s to date.
Clint is a born entertainer; it runs like lightning through his veins. Anyone who has seen Clint perform will immediately recognise his amazing and distinctive singing voice that places him apart from all others. He has an incredible “larger than life” presence on stage, which wins audiences over quite remarkably with every performance he delivers. He certainly has the “gift of the gab” with a wonderful comical touch and this enables him to connect intimately with his audience. Clint’s natural ease and confidence makes his delivery superb and not surprisingly, he is highly in demand at the moment.
The last year or so has seen Clint enjoying extensive exposure in the Corporate market. Through the band “Trilogy” and as a solo entertainer, Clint has entertained LAND ROVER, ORACLE, BMW, ABSA, FNB (top brokers), PROGRESS, ELI LILLY PHARMACEUTICAL, PLASCON, SPORTMENS TRUST at Sun City, UNIDATA, LINDSAY SAKER, SAB, and the list of high-profile companies goes on…….. Clint is currently sponsored by Lindsay Saker and Jagermeister. Clint has also performed with celeb’s like Nianell, Toxic Shame, and held the audience around our beloved Barry Hilton’s comedy spots.
Clint is an accomplished songwriter and has written over 200 of his own songs and has enjoyed extensive radio play throughout the country, especially with his hit song “Cry Baby Cry” a few years ago. Clint has just completed his latest album “Soulfire” and it is proving to be as promising and successful as the first.
Clint has enjoyed exposure in other mediums apart from live performances. He presented the magazine program “Ziwa-mo – It’s Happening” on SABC3. He also featured on “Buzz”, “The Casper Rasper Show”, and others.
Clint is currently making the transition from the pub and club cover circuit to the larger and more serious venues, as well as the Corporate arena. In 2002 he ran his own show, once a month, at The Showcase Theatre in Northriding. This show has given Clint the opportunity to perform and sell his original material to a more discerning audience and is proving to be extremely popular. His solo show continues to run in 2003 and is going strong. His use of bag-pipers, dancers, an acoustic band, piano accordian, outrageous dress and comedy, has enabled him to sell out the Showcase Theatre.
As well as his original solo show, Clint is also currently starring in “Born on the Bayou”, the Creedance Clearwater Revival Tribute Show, running most Saturdays in 2003, also at the Showcase Theatre. Not only is Clint the front man of the show, but he also wrote and directed it. This show has been running successfully for several months and its huge popularity can only be attributed to the uncanny ability of the Tribute Band – close your eyes people, they sound exactly like the original members. It is a MUST SEE!
