Comprising the cream of the crop from South Africa’s top session and recording artists, Sounds Brass is undoubtedly one of the country’s finest and most versatile function bands. Featuring saxophone as one of the band’s prominent instruments, Sounds Brass presents a widely diverse repertoire of great music ranging from the pulsing sounds of the Soul Era, through the rocking sounds of the 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, 80’s and 90’s, to relaxed laid back jazz standards, all played with the excellence one would expect from these seasoned musicians.
A super-group by all accounts, the band incorporates in its line-up the popular duo Who’s News and soul outfit The Soul Foundation, both available independently. The band is available in all sizes depending on budget.
