Steve Claude is a stunning performer, a classy and dignified solo artiste. His repertoire spans from the 60’s to the 90’s with a varied mix of styles. He has extensive experience as a top act and has a sound system that comfortably caters for venues of almost any size. He holds both his stage and audience with elegance and aplomb.
Steve started with the school choir at the tender age of 15 and hasn’t stopped since. He has sung with the Durban Philharmonic Society and has performed in many musicals and operas : Lucia de Lamemoor, Caveleria Rusticana, Pagliacci, Carmen, Guys & Dolls, Brother Brother, Caesar & Cleopatra, to name but a few.
Steve studied with singing teachers Barbara Knox and Xavier Belma, danced with Ellie Hughes & Wally Green at the Artes Awards (modern jazz), appeared in various TV adverts, had a bit of fun playing TV character Gato, had a guest spot in Sing Country (SABC), put on his assistant director’s cap for a movie starring Bud Spencer, and captured the hearts of the Avroy Shlain conference delegates at the Sun City Super Bowl in an awesome solo performance. Steve is Eyesizwe’s preferred entertainment choice (the 4th largest mining company in South Africa). Add to that a captive audience of 2000 people for Swiss Guard, and you have a solo entertainer who is definitely a cut above the rest.
Steve has played countless pubs, restaurants and high-profile functions over the years, and as a result, is one of the most polished and sought after one-man acts around. Steve is also an accomplished and charming Master of Ceremonies.

and a bit of harmonica thrown in,
